This week’s episode of “The Late Late Show” is all about extreme wedding crashers.
If you’re a bride-to-be with a few giant bling rings tucked safely away from being taken advantage of, or a blushing bride who just wants to distract her husband during the ceremony, a stalker’s sole mission this year is to spoil your big day.
On Thursday’s episode, host James Corden brings a funny riddle called the “Wedding Crasher” back for another round of late-night cross-examination.
Like many of the stalker stories on the story’s page, this one, too, has a happy ending.
As it turns out, a man who witnesses the high drama of his partner’s surprise gesture happened to be planning a wedding of his own. As Corden jokes, he went and got a ticket on the same flight the couple was on, and there he watched an actual wedding, with all the attendant dramas and challenges that can be associated with such a big event.
But the hilarity of this story is that it so perfectly echoed the most important story of the day for the bride’s husband-to-be.
To punctuate the “Wedding Crasher” moment, Corden made it a reality by booking a flight with the couple’s flight buddy, who ended up making their wedding day complete.
When it’s all said and done, though, it’s the bride who has to be delighted with her “Wedding Crasher.”
