How Kate and Meghan will pay tribute to Princess Diana’s style on their wedding day
With the British Royal Wedding on Monday, Princess Diana’s son, Prince Harry, will be marrying his American fiancée, Meghan Markle.
So with the iconic wedding day of his mother, Princess Diana, over twenty years ago, the London forecast for this most joyous of events is likely to be filled with tribute and tribute.
You may recall that in the early 90s, Princess Diana made a powerful fashion statement, when she visited a town with British color designer Ossie Clark. The designer was all about fashion, and had a popular military tuxedo suit which would be an ultimate fit for royal wear. Diana and the “Expert in Clogs” Clark were photographed walking together.
Princess Diana was looking stylish on the streets of Madrid, Spain in 1992 — wearing a tuxedo from Ossie Clark. Markle has also become known for the tuxedo. On occasion she sports a pink-red blazer with patterned pants. This week it was reported that the Prince will have a tuxedo played on Monday.

The engagement of the Duchess of Sussex with Prince Harry was announced in November 2018. The Queen was first introduced to Meghan in July 2017.
Prince Harry has previously spoken about how his mother’s passing impacted him deeply. He called it a “huge blow.”
As for Meghan Markle, a fan of Diana’s. In a 2018 interview, she alluded to a fondness for her late mom when describing her wedding dress. “I certainly knew her taste. I knew that when I had to know what she would think about this, I would always have a conversation with her.”
