While Ethical Superstore has a huge amount of gift ideas on their website, their set of three hexagon bangles caught our attention as a quirky, on-trend gift to pair with a party outfit for Christmas or New Years. This gift is handmade, vegan, recycled and sustainable. It is also made under fair trade as artisans in Kenya created them in a workshop which employs over 60 people all with fair wages. Gift wrap is available but standard delivery to the UK takes around five days, so get ordering quickly for just under £30.

Lush’s Christmas Candy Box is a Lush lovers dream and it means you don’t even have to worry about wrapping the present. For £19.95 it offers some of the stores classic Christmas favourites: the Candy Cane bubble bar, Butterbear bath bomb, Snow Fairy shower gel and the Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb. Another perk is that you won’t have to worry about delivery on time if you head to your nearest Lush store to buy it there. The products involved are vegan, handmade and fight against animal testing. Who wouldn’t want to smell this good for Christmas?

By Sarah London’s Wellbeing Bath and Body Gift Set is another ‘ready to give’ present. For £30 it contains a personalised note, written by you at the checkout, and natural, vegan and cruelty free organic body oil and bath salts packaged in a 77% recycled box. The ingredients used mean that this present is also suitable for pregnant women. You must order fast though; Christmas Day delivery can only be ensured if you purchase before midnight on December 18.

Green Tulip are bringing the luxury element to Christmas this year with their Dark Plum Velvet Glitter Star Purse for £9 which matches with a similar faux suede bag in the same design for £15. Why not get both to make a set? Lua, the makers of these products, are a small business in Warwickshire who work with young entrepreneurs in Vietnam who make the products under fair trade conditions. The purse itself is made with velvet and satin.

The word Kaligarh means artisan. The brand supports people who are specialised in a craft or art form, usually working by hand in the Himalayan region. The company aims for slow, sustainable impact. Working with each artisan on a one-to-one basis, Kaligarh allows them to enhance their family’s income, whilst building a positive sense of identity. Through regular employment and interest-free loans from the company, the people that Kaligarh’s work in partnership with, were able to reconstruct their homes and rebuild their lives after the earthquake in 2015.⠀ Discover more pieces at:⠀
