With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it’s time to start getting inspired for what to wear.
This still life photography from a fabulous Eco Style photoshoot showcases two Valentine’s inspired looks: one for a night out and one for a night in.
Whether you’re staying in or heading out, spending time with a loved one or a having a Palentines Day, this shoot has plenty of ideas for you to stay ethical.
Before heading out on a date, get blending with Morphe’s 3502 Second Nature Eyeshadow palette. It’s currently £23 on the Morphe website and they announced last year that their products are cruelty free. Pair this with one of Jeffree Star’s Red Mini liquid lipsticks and you’ll be sure to get a kiss at the end of the night. You can get the full set on Beauty Bay for £45.
A red, pink, purple or burgundy dress is always a good option for an all-important date night. We chose a sparkly, burgundy, velvet, body-con dress from New Look which is perfect to hug your curves in all of the right places. Not to worry – the velvet is cruelty free as it is made with 93% polyester and 7% elastane.
For a night in, light a few candles, scatter a few rose petals (you can opt for synthetic ones like we did for the photoshoot to avoid harming any flowers) and relax in a sophisticated and romantic nightgown. We’ve picked out a beautiful viscose Jacquard Robe from Topshop which is unfortunately no longer available but we’ve found a similar one from Next in the same material for £36.
Who says you won’t be getting a kiss at the end of the night if you opt to stay in? Be smooch-ready with Elf’s lip lacquer in the shade burgundy for £3.
We hope this shoot has given you some inspiration for Valentine’s this year. Tweet us the cruelty free products you decide to use at @EcoStyleTweets.
